A great initiative was taken by Gujarat Tourism by organizing a cycle rally straight from Vadnagar to Mehsana. In a neighborhood, more bicycle riding implies fewer cars, which can lead to a safer road environment. Children can also benefit from the slower and less risky traffic by riding bicycles and hence, promoting a healthy lifestyle. People who walk or ride their bikes for transportation are more likely to shop at local businesses and stroll around historic and tourist places of the town and in the way and hence, promoting tourism and hidden gems and treasures of Gujarat.
